Once again I'll be listening but not posting.  Fingers crossed for a bustout or 2.

TOTHK: Tears for Fears - Sowing the Seeds of Love

Not a rarity, but probably my favorite work of theirs.

Peter Jennings: Berlin Wall coming down >

2. U2 - Everlasting Love

Now this is a rarity, at the very least. BOS1

3. Roy Orbison - You Got It

BOS2 and maybe BOS overall. I am liking the direction we're going with this set.

6. Nine Inch Nails - Down In It

NIN in '89?

(ETA: Lo and behold, Pretty Hate Machine came out in '89. Had no clue.)

7. Pixies - Here Comes Your Man

8. The Alarm - Sold Me Down the River

Least Necessary of set, so far anyway. Two to go.

from my (admittedly cranky and stressed) perspective, this has been too many obvious choices for my taste, except for Ocean Blue and the U2 B-side. Sold down the river indeed.

I swear we hear the Pixies tune in every '89 set.  And I'm not a NIN fan so that did nothing for me, rare tho' it may be.

WOS RHCPs, one of the more unnecessary covers ever. I swear we heard this fairly recently too.

And tune no. 10:

10. Young MC - Bust A Move

Bustout a Move?

Not quite. Appeared once before, just over 5 years back, with two other dupes appearing in both that set and this one (Roy O. and Love & Rockets).
