were there enuf Bay Area artists at Woodstock for 10 songs? Guess not.
ETA: AL actually posted a request thread late Sun nite.
ETA2: folks actually requested songs she played last week and the week before, She politely points that out at the end of the thread :)

FYI I'll be listening but not posting. Work is something of a clusterfuck this week.
-
TOTHK: Earth Quake - Friday On My Mind
One that works on several levels, how could she not?
2. Huey Lewis & the News - Back In Time
-
Bay area in the 60s clip > 3. Beau Brummels - Laugh Laugh
4. Jellyfish - The King is Half Undressed
Not bad so far. Most are from requests (I don't recall a Jellyfish request specifically, but someone requested Beatnik Beatch, which was Jellyfish pre-Jellyfish.)
-
5. Rubinoos - I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend
Nice little power pop twin-spin here.
-
OK, had to pop in to say BOS Rubinoos, a big fave at my college radio station in da Bronx.
and BOS2 to the fabulous Lydia Pense & Cold Blood!
-
Super Hit Six: Cold Blood - I Just Want to Make Love to You
-
Also had to pop in - BOS Lydia Pense and Cold Blood.
-
Another representative of the great Beserkely roster of artist (although this came along after he'd jumped to a major, iirc):
7. Greg Kihn Band - (Our Love's In) Jeopardy
Probably the most LN of the set so far.
-
Elvin struts his stuff, 'yall. This is easily the best of the 3 "local" sets so far.
-
I really considered bailing before this, but, BLMMOM (best local music monday of month).
BOS2, Elvin Bishop struttin his stuff.

Joe Starkey calling "the Play" > Elvin Bishop "Struttin' My Stuff"
-
uber-uber-LN SmashMouth. We were doing so well, too.

Agreed with both of you. So far the most recent song we've heard has been the Jellyfish, and I can live with that.
ETA: Oops. I spoke too soon. Major LN with the Smashmouth.

Free yo' mind!
-
Free yo' mind!
And yo' ass will follow?
10 En Vogue - Free Your Mind
One assumes the title was cribbed from Funkadelic.

SmashMouth notwithstanding, that was excellent -- and we jump back into the present with the incredibly annoying Milky Chance.

Someone in 'snipeville noted that we haven't heard Santana in any of these yet. I thought sure, with the Woodstock anniv, that we'd get "Soul Sacrifice" today.
No doubt he'll show up in the next 2 weeks. I' guessing we'll hear "Smooth", tho'.
