AL has announced on FB that it's a mystery year.
-
Since the "Local Music" sets span the decades and include '60s & '70s stuff, I'm assuming we'll get an early-'90s set today and an '80s (or possibly '00s) thang on Fri. A late-'70s set would be a nice surprise but I'm not betting on it.

Well, the forum is back from whatever database limbo it was in. This was a really wonderful 1973 set today, with several bustouts including my BOS (and longtime request) Stevie's "Misstra Know-it-All". Almost enuf to restore one's faith. Almost.

It's a tenet of operant conditioning that an irregular reinforcement schedule will result in a longer
persistence of a particular behavior before it is extinguished. If 10@10 were uniformly crappy,
we would all stop listening in short order. But occasionally we get a relatively good show, so we
keep hanging on. In fact, I think there's a song about that. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t3bjMtqpGBw)

I'm reasonably certain that clip was from The Sting. It is Robert Redford, who was
in both films, but the other character is mentioned by name in the clip.

the Way We Were clip preceded "My Love", but there was a Sting clip between Stevie Wonder & the Who.
