twice in one day; it will be hard to top the Peak sensation. And Shawn Colvin and Adrian Belew's "Oh Daddy" are a fair-to-middling start.

I like the Oh Daddy song but never heard it back in the day.

I told you guys that KBCO really likes Natalie Merchant, right?

If Ginger Alec also dips into Doolittle (maybe "Wave of Mutilation"?) this will be a great set.  I really wish I could find a way to listen to Rob Arrow.

VHM the Fixx "Driven Out".

Y'all have heard my story of driving Jane's Addiction over the border to TJ & the grand opening of a club there.  They were headlining the 2nd night, the Fixx was going on the 1st night.  That was in '89 & I doubt I have heard this song since then.

BOS "Texas".  I love this album.

Chris Rea, another Morey fave. Bet we hear the B-52s any minute now.

BTW Mark, The Peak does a pm replay too if you're home at 7.

BOS The The!

For novelty alone, I can't think of anytime I've heard any song by them on any 10@10.

ETA, for those of you unfamiliar, The The was essentially one guy named Matt Johnson, but for this album (Mind Bomb) he teamed up with Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr & ABC drummer Dave Palmer.

They do almost everything else KFOG does, so why don't they use the 'And now for something completely different' soundbite before switching to Dr. John's big band cover of "Makin' Whoopee"?

Thank You Alec!  For the political update, that is.

Y'all should know that the Denver/Boulder area has become every bit the bright blue enclave that the SF Bay Area is, in case you started to feel lonely.

woulda ruined the link from the movie clip.  But they are truly KFOG clones in a lot of ways.  They do play some new stuff that KFOG hasn't touched, tho', like the Caesars "Jerk it Out".

Yesterday at the gym I heard "Riot Radio" and reflected that it's another song KFOG missed the boat on. I'm also surprised it was never a Little Steven pick... maybe the name "Dead '60s" offended him.
