Title: 16 July 2015: an "encore" from... 1995
Post by: RGMike on July 16, 2015, 08:44:09 AM
I'll be on a conference call at 10:00 so with my luck it will surely be a truly classic '70s rerun.

My hope is the 70s day is today, as I have back-to-back phone meetings tomorrow from 9 to noon.

Sorry Mike, one of us is likely to cash in.

the Clueless clip was awesome!  Better than most of the music.

I wonder if 1995 was really this bad, or is it just the Dorian Grey/punk/pop fixation KFOG presents so often.

The '90s generally are not my speed, but this was fairly representative of what I was hearing at the time, switching back & forth between KFOG and Live-105 (plus the token Top 40/hip-hop track from TLC, which was one of the biggest-selling singles of the year).  I was listening to a lot of alt-country at that time, and that's the only thing that was missing here.  And yes, Clueless is one of the great comedies of that decade.
