jeebus it feels like we just did '99... oh wait that was '98.
-
I'll be listening on the off-chance I get my Cher request, but as usual with late-'90s I do not have high hopes.
-
another late start: "Praise You" begins just after 10, a song that ironically is from 1999 and 1998, depending.
-
Oy: Sugar Ray. Shut da door, bay-bee.
-
X Files --> Bree whats-her-name, "David Duchovny"
-

was this the start? I didn't hear any intro after the prior song.

No, the point was it was a '99 song being played before a '99 set.
The Matrix-> "Race for the Prize", Flaming Lips with a welcome rarity. VHM at very least.
ETA: a bustout, in fact. So I'm bumping it up to BOS1.

Nope, I think the Sugar Ray tune was the offiicial start of the set.

uber-LN Lenny K.
-
Office Space --> Filter, "Take a Picture".
-
Daily Show on Falwell/Tinky-Winky --> Blur, "Coffee and TV"
-
Ted Danson Becker --> Blink 182 "What's My Age?"
-
Garbage "Special" (the "slow" mix, I'm told -- didn't know there was another)
-
Cousteau, "Last Good Day of the Year" -- NTM and BOS2. Apparently another bustout.
-
This set has a decidely mid-tempo MOR feel to it.
-
American Beauty "I rule!" --> Foo Fighters "Breakdown". The Foos in an AL '99 set? no, really?
-
Oh gee. Foos. Shocker.
-
I'd call this one not bad -- only 2 LNs which is an improvement over most '90s sets.
-
Just ran across AL's request thread in my FB feed, and besides being notably short, it was easy to see she didn't play any of the two dozen or so songs requested (which in some cases was a blessing). Closest she came was a different Sugar Ray song.
-
Given the new fascination with "throwback" rap records from that period, I'm surprised we didn't hear something hip-hoppy.
