Bad time to be a King. Sorry to hear about it, but I can't say it's all that surprising - he'd been in decline for a good while.

Maybe not too surprising, but not big news in Scotland.  UK TV and news is weird.  Unless you want to watch Frazier, Magnum PI, Big Bang Theory or Star Trek (OS) at any given time.
