Early BOS to"Fools In Love". This was great live.
-
Another BOS to Rickie Lee Jones "Easy Money". I love this album.
-
At work a little early today since half my staff are out on vacay. Heard most of the Springsteen Devil with the Blue Dress medley--was that tune #2? (It's great live, too. <g>)

I'm here but didn't recognize RLJ.

I got distracted by work, could have been. Here's the Buggles we were promised at the outset, along with the Bruce, and still to come: Ian Gomm.

I hate it when that happens.

Oh yeah, we missed Floyd, "Goodbye Blue Sky".

Bummer. And the stream came back from the ads in the middle of Volcano. If it were anything but Jimmy Buffet, I'd be bummed, but instead I'm grateful. (Anyone see he's doing a hurricane benefit at the Fillmore for $200 a ticket? Guess there's a lot of rich parrotheads out there, and I'm hip with the benefit angle, but I'm just sayin...
BOS Dancing Barefoot. (Do any of the other 10@10s do the BOS thing? Haven't heard it mentioned.)

BOS #3 "Dancing Barefoot"
I am MUCHO impressed that she played that. Dave completely ignores eveything Patti except "Because the Night", when there's great stuff earlier ("Redondo Beach", anyone?) and later. I heard her cover of "So You Wanna Be a RnR Star" recently but i can't remember where.

I don't think I can even imagine "Piss Factory" showing up in a (1975?) set. But to be fair, we have heard "Dancing Barefoot" a time or two. We must have; this is the only place I've ever heard it.

I think Dave played U2's cover of DB in a B-sides set, but I swear we've never heard Patti's in a 10@10 -- unless it was a "bonus track"? I'd also love "Frederick" (ever hear the Sandie Shaw version?) and her fab 1988 "comeback", "People Got the Power".

I'm with Gaz on this one--I'm pretty sure we've heard DB at least a couple of times. But yes, Frederick would be a joy--I'm less thrilled about PGTP, but anything would liven up the average 88 set. And next year, her second "comeback" album, Gone Again, will qualify for 10@10 status (1996)--either Summer Cannibals or Wicked Messenger would be just fine, thank you.
