Yep, thread went up about half an hour ago.
Expecting a number of the usual suspects, but AL's been good about digging out some new things to fit within theme sets of late, so I am cautiously hopeful.

I suggested Johnny Paycheck "Me & the IRS" -- which I heard the other day on KPFA -- and then saw that Giter Dunn had already requested it. But we've surely never heard it so hope springs.

I don't think it's awful -- I loved it in 1979 -- but it's way overexposed.

I've always enjoyed it too, actually. But listening to it today...musically speaking, it's not good.

Another evergreen: The Fab Four, Taxman.
What Mike said about the Flying Lizards tune and Jinglebells, times five.
Besides, it's the Beatles from one of their most creative periods, imo. You can't complain about the Beatles. (Although we probably have.)
-
"Taxman" -- another "must play even tho' a cliche"
BOS3 Simply Red "Money$ Too Tight"
-
AbFab clip, another evergreen from the Morey days --> another evergreen from Robert Cray.

Replace 'Beatles' with 'Kinks' and ditto.

What I find interesting about this version is that is much more constructed by editing sounds
together than by playing instruments.

4/15/15 WEDNESDAY! THE ANNUAL MUSICAL REVENUE SERVICE FOR TAX DAY
So in addition to no mixed case, irregular punctuation, and misspelling, we have also
been lacking the BOS notation of late. The quality of the set list postings on the KFOG
page has dropped off a cliff recently.
ETA: And the AbFab clip was before track 6, not track 8. There was also what sounded
like a clip from Friends before the Gene Autry ditty.
