Title: 30 March 2015: it's... Mystery Monday (1990)
Post by: RGMike on March 30, 2015, 07:39:46 AM
You may attempt to guess the year -- been a while since she's done one o' these.

Looking at where we'vebeen recently, I'm gonna predict mid-to-late '70s... tho' it could be our first 2004 set.

I'm going to amuse myself by imagining this is about the Friends character. Though I'm not sure that will help.

It's a Monday autopilot set. And doing the Mystery Year thing means there were no requests to sift thru. Win-win, from AL's standpoint.

Being that I'm on autopilot myself today, I can't say I blame her.

Good NTM stuff. As is this one. Adrian Belew? Sounds like his style, but not his voice.

ETA: Ahhh, Eno. So there's a connection...

Seems like there'd be a better way to deliver the message than driving the car around the world.

Ha! today it'd be put the message on the 'net. And the song would be over.

Misery, Mister Man --> "Type", Living Colour. BOS3 for another worthy rarity.  three BOSes ain't bad considering the other 7 songs were way overly-familiar.

Nice dose of Madchester today. Inspiral Carpets, Soup Dragons, and Jesus & Mary Chain were from Scotland, so close.
