REALLY hoping we're back to new sets Monday; I'm gonna go out on a limb and predict a Nimoy-tribute "space" set not unlike the one The Sound did Friday, given AL's gushing posts on FB.

That "space" set (and also the bass set) looked like fun. Either one was the sort of thing we'd come to expect
with AL 1.0. Alas, I don't think she has the same creative freedom now. More likely would be a 1966 show with
lots of Star Trek clips. But I don't think that will happen either. My WAG is a '70s set.

I'll be in a 10:00 meeting so take notes, somebody/anybody.

Will try. I'll be listening but I'm in the thick of content from the big mobile trade show going on in Barcelona, so might be only listening.
(To be clear I am not in Barcelona, just dealing with the output of 20+ coworkers who are.)

The set began with the old intro so I'm pretty sure it's an encore. Also made ref to "Foghead Melissa's birthday"which I believe is in the fall.
TOTHK: Bananarama, Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye.

All I can say is that on my personal list of top 10 songs at each position in the Top 100*, "Tears of a Clown" is my personal #2 at the top spot.
And on my personal list of best covers ever, English Beat is in the the top 25.
*Gaz knows what I mean, not sure who else has done this.

2. English Beat Tears of a Clown
3. Naked Eyes- Always Something There to Remind Me
-
gotta admit that JJ's cover over "C&C" sounds better to me today than probably ever before.
Can't wait for another Annnalisa live set, but there are a lot worse sets for replay in the catalogue than the last couple. IMHO
-
4. Joan Jett -Crimson & Clover
5. Ramones - Baby, I Love You

Realizing that I never gave props to Blondie's horns section on this one.
-
6. Blondie - The Tide is High
7. The Damned - Alone Again, Or
-
8. Bauhaus - Ziggy Stardust
(clip from Austin Powers: Mini-Me)
9. Bow Wow Wow - I Want Candy
10. The Clash - Police On My Back
All in all, a pretty fine set, encore or no.

You can look this up: Adam had an argument with the Ants, and so the latter contacted Malcom MacLaren, and said, "what should we do?".
He said, "Well, I have got this hypersexual 15-year old Burmese immigrant girl named Anabella, maybe you should jump ship & back her up".

Not a bad one, tho' I'm not exactly upset about missing a rerun. I don't suppose AL gave any hints as to when new sets might be happening?

Nary a clue. I heard the generic promo some time during the 9am hour, and then when the set began with the old AL 1.0 intro ("I'm gonna get in this time machine, go back in time and mess with people's minds", Huey Lewis, etc.) I've also noted that the stream player I use (streamtheworld.com) has read "REM It's The End Of The World" since they flipped the switch to go to the new studio. So I am guessing they are still cleaning up loose ends and getting everything dialed in and not worrying about things like Tunegenie and 10@10.

A snipe said he asked her on her FB page when we were getting new sets and she deleted his comment... which sounds very unlike AL to me.
