AL's getting a lot of mileage out of Bill Cosby.
-
New Order to start.
-
OMD "So In Love"
-
Back to the Future --> Huey, "Back in Time". VHM for not being "Power of Love"
-
BOS "This Time" one of the rare INXS tunes I don't consider LN
-
more BTTF --> "Positively Lost Me", The Rave-Ups. VHM for being a rarity and possible bustout.
ETA: one prev appearance, in 2011.

ETA: "she loves me, she loves me not. show me the waa-aa-ay home."

hey Shray! yeah, BOS for me, too. I had forgotten about that one.
...and here's probably your #2 BOS, 50 points for "parthenogenesis".

VHM "Obsession" even is others find this an LN. Total sledgehammer. I remember clubbing with the rest of the Old Spaghetti Factory waitstaff after work in St. Louis. My friend Rick, who was a busboy - and therefore under 21 - would ask the hottest girl he/we could find and walk right up and say (spoiler alert, this is TOTALLY un-PC) "Didn't I DO you?"
most times they would run as fast as they could in the opposite direction, sometimes he'd get slapped, but more than once (and the most hilarious part of this) was when they would look him right in the eye and say, OMG! and take him to the dance floor.
ETA, of course I can't condone this in any way, shape, or form 30 yrs on, but still.

still more BTTF Reagan is president in 1985--> Fogerty "Old man Down the Road". If that was an intentional segue, kudos. And at least we didn't get "Centerfield", which has appeared in A-to-Z.
-
Nancy Reagan --> Paul Young takes a piece of meat with you. Another VHM.

pop quiz - when Marty first shows up in 1955 - give me any of the following:
the 2 records on sale in the music store window
the movie on the marquee, with the 2 headliners
how many guys run out to service the car at the gas station
who was mayor
-
Nancy Reagan --> Paul Young takes a piece of meat with you. Another VHM.
one of the fave mondegreens of Dave Mack & Chriss
-
Waterboys -- one of my fave songs of all time, tho' it is quite the FF in the AL era.
-
BOS #3 Waterboys, no mattter how overplayed this ever gets, any reference to Brigadoon trumps all else.
