GOOD GAWD -- this is horrendous so far. The Weezer song gets played 20 times a week on KFOG. The others are LNs and the Nickleback -- uber-WOS. Yeesh & Sheesh.

I enjoyed the Penn/Mann Beatles cover (from the I Am Sam soundtrack, iirc), and the Depeche Mode and E&theBM songs probably qualify as rarities, but nonetheless, not much to get my heart pumping in this set so far.

John Mayer "No Such Thing"
Yawn. So middle of the road along with the Jack Johnson. I thought this song was quite impressive when I first heard it, but that was a 1000 plays ago.

Argh! I was just about to post there was still a 50% chance of hearing one of Last Nite or Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground or Fell in Love with a Girl, even with just one song left.
Love mah '00s!

Per AL on FB, BOS went to Aimee Mann & Michael Penn.
-
well so far this week we've had '80s, '70s, '00s and BotttleRock. '60s tomorrow would be sweet but I suspect it will be something other than that.

I'm going to guess we get another 80s set, but fully agree that a 60s set would be aces.

looking at recent history, '70, '80 and '91 look like contenders.
