I'll stick with my '89 prediction (since '78 came up today).

I'll stick with my '89 prediction (since '78 came up today).
AL just posted: the year Apple gave us the Macintosh. I guess '84 was "due" too. Hope this isn't another Dave-on-autopilot type set.
And if it's '84 today, I'm gonna predict a mid-to-late '90s set tomorrow (1998 is overdue), '72 Thurs (a Stones Exile track feat Bobby Keys , of course) and '89 Fri.
-
gee, Black Keys right before 10@10. That never happens. ::)
-
Frankie say "Relax" for our TOTHK
-
eek: "Sunglasses At Night"
-
Rockwell, "Somebody's watching me" -- VHM to a welcome cheezy pop nugget. Only one previous appearance, apparently.
-
Nightmare on Elm St (?) --> "Hero takes a Fall". uber-BOS1 Bangles
-
Repo Man --> Kinks "Do it Again". Bit of an AL mainstay at this point, but BOS2 anyway. TANC: Rob played it yesterday on The Peak.
-
uber-BOS3 Brooooooce "No Surrender"
-
BOS4 the 'mats, "I Will Dare"

BOS4 the 'mats, "I Will Dare"
With another Repo Man clip preceding. A lovely film and definitely of its time, but it's starting to be a bit overused, too, don'tcha think?
BOS to the Bruce, Kinks and 'Mats tunes. A nice triple play.
-
NOOOOOOOO!!! uber-WOS and uber-LN Yes, "Leave It"
-
news: CNN on the Reagan re-election --> EJ "Sad Songs". BOS5 for another welcome slice o' pop.
-
Cosby Show --> Pretenders "Time the Avenger" BOS6.
This was a surprisingly well-balanced outing, and not one of AL's usual '80s New Wave fests.
-
Cliff Huxtable talking to Theo > Pretenders, Time the Avenger.
Best Segue of Set.
