No clue as to the year, or whether AL is still away. Anyone know if Roland West has been subbing for her this time?
ETA: Renee sez AL's back from the East Coast and "her Boston accent will be extra thick today". heh.

Nope, it's been Rockwell. No idea who's subbing for him.

Rockwell has a regular time slot now? I thought he was still a pinch hitter.

No, he's strictly a fill-in. But a welcome one when he shows up, IMHO.

as predicted: '77. Mr Dury "S&D&R&R" a fine TOTHK.

For some reason I thought he was on after Dred on late nights. What the hell do I know?

OTOH, EC's "Red Shoes" is about as uber-LN as any NewWavish '77 track I can think of. I used to be amused, but now I'm more often disgusted.

Annie Hall clip ("It's all over much too quickly") --> Billy Joel, Only the Good Die Young
This is sounding like a mild-mannered party from my college years (late '80's) so far.

News: Alaska pipeline. Not to be confused with Virginia Pippellinni.
Johnny "Guitar" Watson, "Real Mutha Fo' ya" gets a BOS, though it's no longer rare at this point.
Thanks HTY for doing the Cap'n Jack picture-posting thing.

It's enjoyable when the rug rats aren't around or are sleeping. I've been a stay-at-home dad for over a year now.

Nice flub on the song's title on that sleeve there. Wonder if that's a collector's item or anything.

Maybe it wasn't a misprint, if it really was about Anita Bryant.

oh, it IS good. I really lost interest in him in the '80s. But "Crapton" is a fun word to type and is actually a reference to that famous Japanese CD cover where they spell it that way.

Was thinking this had bustout possibility, but no, it came up once before, in the AL 2.0 era, about a month before she bailed for K-FOX.

and there's a typo on that sleeve too: it should be "I Hope We get to Love in Time", not "Live". I'd've sworn Dave played it back in the day but apparently not.

great track is the instrumental Your Love Is My Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YGpyYmssOWg).
