Request thread is up. Made 5 myself, of which at least four would be bustouts. Not sure about "Hip To Be Square".
And that gives us for the week:
2 70's sets (74, 76)
2 80's sets (83, 86)
1 from 60's/90's/00's (91)

Made my requests (all would be bustouts, iirc).
ETA: Redding "Bob" just played Benjamin Orr "Stay The Night", another '86 single (which peaked in '87, so never mind).
-
I note that there are a lot of pop-oriented requests that KFOG normally steers clear of. We'll see if any actually get played.

I'm guessing we get one pleasant Pop surprise. Lots of good requests there, but we know how that goes.

I had a 12" of Mountains with a ten-minute version of the song that was funky as all get out.

Is this the first time we’ve heard this on 10@10 (or anything from the PSB album other than West End Girls)?
-
Howard the Duck --> REM "Superman". I must say I can't recall hearing clips from that George Lucas megabomb before.

it would appear to be a bustout, surprisingly. Dave played "Opportunities" once, it seems.
WOS Billy Idol.

I'm enjoying this only in the sense that I haven't heard it in years, but can't say I have missed it. WOSFRA?
Can't say I've heard that FYC take on Ever Fallen In Love... either. But that might get my BOS for the day.
-
Actually, AL, "Suburbia" wasn't a big hit (well, maybe on alt-radio) but it was welcome.

from the Something Wild sndtk. may be the Rarity of the Week (in a dead-heat with EC's "So Like Candy").

BOS "Suburbia".
Overall, not as bad as it could've been, but apart from the aforementioned, it lacked a serious "heyyyy" moment.
-
Per AL on FB, REM got BOS.

indeed, there were a number of, uh, "urban" requests in that thread (Janet Jackson, Oran "Juice" Jones, etc)
