FWIW, I made these requests for you. Let's see if AL chooses any of these.

predictable FB post: "love my '70s!"
I'm hoping this is one of AL's "let's dig deep" days and not a bunch of tried-and-true standbys.
-
I won't be able to listen to this live, so take notes!

Ha!
One of these days when we have 1997 or something I'll post:
"Love my 90's!" just to stir the shit a bit.
Yeah, let's hope for a 1FF maximum. Slim chance.

Van the Man with a reet petite TOTHK. or so Jackie Wilson said.

Good cooking start. Great arrangement on this tune.
-
Oy: uber-LN1 Looking Glass. (I'm giving Van Morrison a pass, tho' that one's hardly rare either.)
ETA: was that a glitch on the CD?
-
Luca Brazzi sleeps with, well, you know --> America "Horse with no Name". So, shouldn't AL have played the severed horse-head scene?

Such a wealth of deep tunes to be mined in 1972. Still waiting to hear one of them. (I did enjoy Jackie Wilson Said, but rare it is not.)
-
more Godfather --> "Long-Distance Runaround". BOS1 for not being "Roundabout".
-
uber-LN2 "Starman". Which someone actually requested. Let all the children bew-gay.

Methinks she got her clips mixed up. After playing the above clip, she should have played LDR with its "The Fish" coda. (At least it wasn't Roundabout though.)

the Dog Day Afternoon bank robbery ("an admitted ho-mo-sexual") --> Rod the Mod,
"Hard Luck Woman""You Wear it Well". VHM.
-
Streets of San Francisco --> TOP "Down to the Nightclub". Bump City! BOS2.

BBBBBOOOOOSSSSSS!

GAWD DAMN, Y'ALL!!!
BOS2 here, too.
-
BOS3 and proxy of Geoff, ABB "One Way Out", baby.
-
BOS Eat a Peach! One Way Out is 1972! (Even though recorded in another year)

I love this song, but I did not like that segue stomping on TOP's last bumpty-bumpty-bump.
-
uber-LN3 the Iggles. Truly another I never need hear again.

Totally played out.
-
Play it Again Sam --> the Move, "California Man". BOS4. Closest to a rarity so far.
-
Haven't heard from Play It Again Sam in a long time.
Amusing Jerry Lee Lewis impression from Mr. Lynne.
-
Uber-BOS (but not a bustout, iirc): The Move, California Man!
I don't care if your legs start achin'....
ETA: The only true rarity of the day, but it's a good 'un! And it provided some great fodder to Rick Neilsen and Cheap Trick only a couple of years later.

Haven't heard from Play It Again Sam in a long time.
It doesn't show up on cable nearly as often as Annie Hall, Hannah... and the like.
-
per AL on FB: BOS tie between Yes and Rod Stewart.

Woody wrote, but didn't direct this'n. The blind date scene always has me cracking up.

Thanks. The experience was like when someone buys you a lottery ticket. You know you have
no chance of winning, but you go through the cycle of hope and disillusionment anyway. And
while my songs were largely 10@10 friendly (Eat Starch Mom contains an obscenity; JA has stung
AL before), it was highly unlikely any would be played, because they're all bust-outs.
And so it was with today's 10@10. Just as we know the choice of year is anything but random,
so is the choice of material. TPTB behind 10@10 must be actively avoiding bust-outs. There's
simply no other explantion. There were moments -- I like Brandy a lot, and it really reminds
me of 1972; plus points for playing LDR into The Fish -- but it was all previously covered
ground. All too well-covered at times.
