First time I've ever heard New Order's "Blue Monday," the biggest-selling 12" single of all time, on commercial radio.

First time EVER?

It was a staple back in the day. And I'm sure Dave's played it once or twice.

Buger King and Pepsi -- together at last!

In 1983, I was only listening to oldies and Top 40 radio, so if this got any airplay at all in Pittsburgh (which I doubt, as I don't think there was a college-radio station servicing the area, and I don't think "dance radio" was really a format then), then I was oblivious.

A bizarrely eclectic set so far.  We've also heard from Mellencamp ("Tumblin' Down"), Marley ("Buffalo Soldier" - was that a posthumous single? I thought it was MUCH earlier), Genesis (isn't someone here a big fan of "Home By the Sea"?), and now Fun Boy 3's "Alex the Seal."

speaking of, here's BadCo's "Can't Get Enough" on the Drive -- I could never tell if they were saying "do watcha do" or "doo-wacka-doo".
