Title: The Drive, 10/6/05: 1969!
Post by: RGMike on October 06, 2005, 07:56:45 AM
Is this the year The Drive visits most often? Seems that way. Not that I'm complaining. I feel either the Archies or Zager & Evans in the air.

Welcome to the Camp!

OMG! Winchester "little cigars" using "Evil Ways" as their jingle! Hadn't thought of that commercial in decades. "It's a WHOLE 'nuther smoke." LOL!

Can anyone hear this now & not think of the closing minutes of "40 Year Old Virgin"?

Too bad Gaz seems to be missing this, it's almost like it's his birthday, "One" & "Stand" back-to-back after 5D.

Welcome to the Camp!

Not sure about the frequency, but safe to say it's Bob's favorite year.  At least it's certainly the year that gets the most enthusiastic back-announcess.

Indeed.  One of the best '69 sets in a while.

tomorrow: 1986, which Bob does very rarely (but not usually well-done).

I keep forgetting that the Drive's rotation is shorter because they don't have to deal with that pesky '87-to-'96 decade. And they don't do theme sets, either.
