How about "(Sittin' On) The Dock Of The Bay"? ;D
Don't worry, I didn't request either, but I hope AL picks one of mine! :)

-
"Tiny Dancer" heard pre-10@10. They're really hammering the Consultant's Handbook uber-faves these days.
-
TOTHLN: the uber-unnecessary "Mighty Quinn" just ain't my cup o' meat. Nowhere to go but up.
-
BOS1 "Savoy Truffle"!
-
BOS2 the 'oo, "Substitute" Hardly rare but one of my fave lyrics ever. I look all white but my dad was black!
-
2001: HAL won't open the doors --> Doors, "Not To Touch the Earth"! uber-BOS3FRA. Possible bustout here. Great segue too.

"I am the Lizard King. I can do anything." I used to love listening to the full Celebration of the Lizard on my mom's copy of Absolutely Live.
-
LN2 Amboy Dukes "JTTCOTM" I nearly predicted this one when I saw that AL was using 2001 clips.
-
more 2001/HAL & Dave --> Traffic's "Feelin' Alright". VHM.
-
Guess Who, "These Eyes". VHM just because.
-
BOS4 Quicksilver, "Dino's Song" -- apparently also a bustout.
BOS5 Etta James "Tell Mama" -- not rare but always welcome.
-
more HAL & Dave --> uber-LN3 "Dance to the Music". Sly's gonna add some bottoms!
-
Doors BOS, hands down

Doors BOS, hands down
Easily. A '68 set with 2 bustouts is impressive these days. Despite several uber-cliche choices, this was swell.
-
AL sez Doors and Sly tie for BOS.
FP sez the set was "just OK... nothing special". Alrighty then...
ETA: Why do I suspect tomorrow we'll get 2001?
-
BOS2 the 'oo, "Substitute" Hardly rare but one of my fave lyrics ever. I look all white but my dad was black!
A fellow on FB pointed out that this is a '66 song, which is when it was initially released, and I couldn't find anything in a cursory web search to tie it to '68.

yeah, AL alluded to it in her backsell; something about "it got put on the '68 pile" or something.

This didn't trip my wrongyeardar because I got it confused with The Seeker, a Who song which came out in a later year (1970) than I had originally thought.
