No clue as of 11:49pm, unless the Hives video she posted an hour ago (with no further comment) is a clue.
-
per the promo it's "the year of Queen Elizabeth's golden jubilee" and the Salt Lake City Olympics. Feh.

10 songs from 2002 that won’t leave me hissing:
“Precious Illusions”, Alanis Morissette
“She Hates Me”, Puddle Of Mudd
“Days Gone By”, Dirty Vegas
“Just Like A Pill”, Pink
“Objection (Tango)”, Shakira
“Don’t Say Goodbye”, Paulina Rubio
“Po’ Folks”, Nappy Roots
“Here To Stay”, Korn (don’t mock)
“Die Another Day”, Madonna
“You Know You’re Right”, Nirvana
And if "Jenny From The Block" were to be played, I'd be gobsmacked.

This is a predictable choice but also a BOS contender.

Scrubs ---> Johnny Cash "Personal Jesus"

2002 was a hard year for me, as it was for a lot of people in the post-bubble, post-9/11
Bay area US. Both of the songs we've heard so far (Bruce, Wilco) trigger very distinct memories, not always good, but vivid. A good start.

Bush creates Homeland Security ---> Coldplay "In My Place"

I'll go ahead and say "LN".

Bustout?

BOS for Doves. Have we ever heard them on 10at10? I don't think I've ever heard them on KFOG.

And the post-9/11 theme is an obvious source of inspiration for this set. Not entirely upbeat, but inspired nonetheless.

2001 and 2002 must be really tough to do 10@10s for that very reason.

While I like this, I sense that others might not.

BOS for Doves. Have we ever heard them on 10at10? I don't think I've ever heard them on KFOG.
I think they got some play for their first album (Lost Souls) and this one (The Last Broadcast), but mostly as new releases tracks, I don't think they stuck around very long.
I saw them several times in this era; they had a very visual live show with great projections over the band.

I like it. One of the better collaborations. Beats the hell out of Everlast's entry.

"Game Of Love": Which song do you prefer - Santana/Michelle Branch or Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders?

Same category as the Wilco song: predictable but nice

I think he announced on FB he wasnt listening.
I had to be on the phone with our IT folks (for nearly an hour!) and I figured a 2002 set was as good a time as any for that ;)
Not sorry I missed this, but glad to see it wasn't awful.
I'm gonna predict '60s tomorrow and '90s on Friday for a 5-decade week (it's been a while since we had one) but I'm probably wrong.
