Petty's "Too Good to Be True" seems like a rarity in this company -- it actually may be a bustout. VHMFRA.

ETA: Dave played it once in 2005 (!)  and it apparently hasn't appeared since.

Tom Petty? "Too Good To Be True"? I'm not sure I've *ever* heard this song, on the radio or otherwise. Points for originality.

Clarence Thomas/Anita Hill --> "Unbelieveable", EMF.  Cute segue, major Moreytrina back in the day  (13 spins in 6 years)

I guess that accidentally was me.  I was trying to make a comment, and it came out like my comment was part of your comment, so I deleted it, and meant to do it later.  I guess I hit the modify button instead of the quote button.  So sorry.

What I meant to say was, "On KFOG?"

BOS Voice of the Beehive, "Monsters & Angels", tho' I preferred their late-'80s output.

I haven't heard it all, but it sounds like a Live 105 10@10.

On 10@10... not sure how often it comes up in regular rotation.

except for Petty, yeah, pretty much. Happens alot in '90s sets.

Personally, I think Prince's "Cream" would work well after one of these Clarence/Anita clips.  or even better: "Gett Off"

snoozy-bloozy SRV noodling? Obligatory in '91, I guess.

No, I don't think KFOG plays it at all during rotation (although it wouldn't surprise me too much if Dred gave it a spin sometime). Something of a FF on 10@10 though (not that I mind).

SRV: Yep, Guilty Displeasure. Sorry, but it just bores me.

I think any post-Purple Rain output by Prince would be welcome (not that I don't like the pre- and Purple Rain songs, but they have appeared on 10@10 before).

OK, I'll bite.  How many 10@10 spins?  I didn't even recognize the song.  It sounded kind of like "Hippie Chick."

Would it be the original, or that godawful short version she played a couple of years ago?

a quick check shows 2 or 3 spins each from Dave and AL.  Not an egregious Katrina, but it's always seemed like an Annalisa fave somehow.

I'm guessing it's the original -- it seemed like it was going on for a good bit, and then my flash player crashed, so I missed the last bit and the backsell. Didn't do anything for me; I'd probably give it WOS. Generally a "meh" sorta set to my ears, save for the Stone Roses and maybe the Petty for novelty's sake. And I confess to not being able to recall hearing the Voice of the Beehive (that's what happens when working and listening at the same time). I agree about the FF-ness of both the Siouxsie and SRV tunes, although I like them both.

BOS SRV for channeling JH's LW

Another BOS from me.  A lovely cover that captures the spirit of the original.  And he had
the good sense not to do the vocal!

Does Do the Bartman qualify?  Written by Michael Jackson, if the wikipedia article is accurate.
(I did not know that.)  Another BOS from me.

Heard it on the replay, and it was some godawful remix. But overall this was a fine effort. BOS to Voice Of The Beehive, Petty, U2 (never tire of). Even EMF gets a VHM.
