I'll admit I didn't see this one coming. Request thread is up.
-
I'll probably miss the live broadcast, so take notes!
-
I tuned into "Jingo" then "Mexican Moon." What was before that?

Mexican Radio, Wall of Voodoo led off. There was also a Chris Isaak song in there, not sure what the song that followed it was. And now we're hearing Los Lobos' Rosalie Set Me Free.

Q: What does Cinco De Mayo celebrate?
A: Drinking
Nice segue into 'Tequila'...
-
Tequila, followed by one of those Rodrigo y Gabriele songs that's in regular rotation.
And what I assume is the original Richie Valens version of La Bamba follows that.
(We're kind of failing in the copious notes department today.)
-
#5 was the Coasters, Down in Mexico.
Didn't quite catch what #7 was. The Rodrigo y Gabriela song was Tamarcun.

Nice mix of "Mexico is the subject" and Mexican artists.

AL on FB says there's a 2-way tie for BOS between Los Lobos and Ritchie Valens.
