Moodies are good TOTHC
sometimely lyrics as well:
...a thousand million questions about hate and death and war...
...a world of presecution that is burning in it's greed...

Moodies are good TOTHC
I came in during Moodies -- did I miss PG&E?
-
"Hot Lips, you incredible nincompoop!"
-
No 10@10 show next week. The Studio C A-Z takes priority.
-
"Oh My God, they've shot him!"
"Hot Lips, you incredible nincompoop, it's the end of the quarter."
BOS M*A*S*H. Suicide is painless.

Ali's reference to "Are you ready? yes I'm ready" + 1970 = PG&E deduction.

And TOTHC means you didn't miss anything because "Question" was the first song, by definition.

Ahh, it's the BBC 'Cherry' Cola edition.
-
Clever PGE reference, yes. I didn't know it was 70 tho.
-
Least Welcome of Set to "Lola" which I've heard WAY too may times. Friday is NOT a good day to be wearing crankypants...
-
BOS John. Love is real, real is love. Not to be confused with "Real Love".

"If I were you, I'd start drinking heavily."

If it weren't for the fact that I take Lipitor, there'd be a pitcher of Margaritas on my desk right now...

You can't tell me you're still cranky after hearing Smokey!

You can't tell me you're still cranky after hearing Smokey!
that tandem of John & Smokey has mellowed my harsh.
This "get up" song is vaguely familiar but I can't put me finger on it.
ETA: and now the Cat Man! F&S... now I'm just melting into a puddle of blissful goo. BOS2

You must be digging the Cat Stevens, n' c'est pas?

How in the world can 1970 not help your mood improve?
-
ahhh gooey Cat

aaarrghhh! the effin stream cut out!
mine too... getting snippets of "The Letter"
ze mad dogs... ze Englishmen... et Zho Co-kair!
-
"...if they were right, I'd agree. But it's them they know not me..."
Nothing more accurately sums up my feelings towards my parents circa age 16-17 than that.
We get along great now though.

And may I add that that was a double album that received saturation airplay at the time -- nary a track went unsampled on NYC FM rock radio. And now all we ever get is "The Letter". Bonnie Bramlett's exquisite version of "That's What My Man is For" is a great lost song.
"can you give us some red lights, 'cause this is a red light song..."

Are you ready, are you ready? Yes, I am.
I also first thought of PG&E, but maybe it's Barbara Lewis? (right artist?)

yup "Yes I'm Ready". Later remade by Teri DeSario with KC.
