No request thread yet but Rosalie spilled the beans yesterday. I always enjoy this one despite the number of warhorses. It's the Old Hippie in me.
-
Request thread is up, but I won't be able to listen to this set... So take copious notes!

Pre-10@10: "Kodachrome" for the 2nd time in 5 days. Hope we're not back to the pre-DC habit of running a handful of "classics" into the ground. Remember when they played "Rocket Man" 25 times a week? And please, gawd: no "Sweet Home Alabummer"
-
Nice start: The Cat Man, "Where Do the Children Play?", an all-time fave. BOS1
guessing this will be followed by a Harold & Maude clip...
ETA: ding! ding! ding! I'm psychic, I tells ya!
-
Harold & Maude, "what kind of flower would you like to be?" --> Nothing But Flowers, T.Heads
-
Lewis Black/unidentified movie clip --> "Out in the Country". 3DN get BOS2 from me. Paul Williams at his best.
-
Al Gore on 30 Rock --> Cake, "Long Line of Cars" A bustout?
-
Daily Show and Colbert on the BP oil spill --> TOP "Only So Much Oil in the Ground" -- most excellent choice. BOS3. also a possible bustout.
-
VHM TOP
-
Woodsy Owl "give a hoot -- don't pollute!" --> Quicksilver, "Fresh Air".
-
VHM TOP
I just had an epiphany. It doesn't really matter if "There's only so much oil in the ground." If there was an unlimited supply of oil in the ground, we should still stop burning it and dumping it into the atmosphere!

Woodsy Owl "give a hoot -- don't pollute!" --> Quicksilver, "Fresh Air".
Heard this AM on Sirius/XM Deep Tracks

Nicky Hopkins is sublime. Freiberg's bass pulse and the guitars weave a great sound.
-
The Lorax --> Bruce Cockburn "If a Tree Falls"
-
More Harold & Maude --> "Mother Natures Son", Beatles (yay). BOS4 to another nice choice.

Nilsson, "The Most Beautiful World in the World" -- a worthy extra. BOS6.
It sounds as if she's found her stride again, slipping in extra songs and digging out a couple of nuggets du jour in each set.
A few of the usual suspects, a few nifty bustouts, and a bit of Harold and Maud, and boom! Excellent set!
BOS TOP! And Quicksilver! And Beatles! And Kinks! And Harry & Ringo! Well, you get my point.

I just was watching MSNBC, and Chris Hayes led off the show with a "Keep it in the Ground" piece. They were saying that we need to leave 80% of the known oil reserves in the ground, unused!
