ETA: they just played one of the most awful-sounding, scratched-up, shabby pieces of vinyl I've ever heard outside of JJ on KPOO --a Brit outfit called The Precious Few covering the Union Gap's "Young Girl". Painful.

Wish I could ahve heard this one live and taken part in the discourse, but today's been all about meetings and stuff that needs to get done while I'm in the office (I guess I failed to mention here that I've been visiting the Home Office (AKA CBSi HQ) since Tuesday. Far too quick a trip precipitated by a visit by my new boss, who is resident in the London office--yes I am trying to work out a field trip to see him there.)
