The thread is up. Praying for a bustout or 2. FF-y requests are out in force. What happened to limiting oneself to a "couple" of suggestions? That didn't last long...
-
I might miss part/all of this set, so take copious notes, just in case!
-
TOTHK: Jigsaw, "Sky High".
-
Ambrosia, "Holding On To Yesteday", longtime DM and AL fave.

-
Elton John profile --> "Captain Fantastic" instead of my "Meal Ticket" request.
-
OMFG2: Willie Nelson, "Blue Eyes Cryin' in the rain". BOS2 and a nice segue after the EJ tune.

I've got to agree, even though I'm loathe to play the LN card.

Jimmy Hoffa missing --> "You're No Good". heh.

Jimmy Hoffa missing --> "You're No Good". heh.
The first time I heard this song was at the Great American Music Hall, done by Steelwind. Their claim to fame was the presence of wunderkind guitarist Craig Chaquico. They had been in LA, and I think learned the song from Linda Ronstadt. It sounded really good, kind of pricked your ears up. I know now you've heard it a jillion times, but once, it was new.

Well, the three bustout/rarities were excellent.... but i still feel like she's rummaging thru her (and Dave's) old setlists.

I'm also getting the feeling that the narrow genre boundaries of 1987-2003 sets are working their way backwards through time. That would be bad news.

Hopefully somebody suggested this was LN in the Snipes thread.

actually it got several BOS votes. And FP is out of town (at Broooce shows, of course).

BOS, The J Geils Band.

I'll concur - always good to hear their 70's output.

That and the Willie Nelson appear to be our 2 bustouts today. The Lofgren has made several appearances, once from Dave and a few more recently.

AL on FB sez Willie Nelson and Elton John got co-BOS.

It appears so, but it's one I'd *swear* Dave played at least once, despite not appearing in the Shraytabase or anywhere else.

Perhaps in the mists of time, before recorded history began (in early 2002).
