uber-LN Request of the day: "Layla". Because you NEVER hear that song on the radio  ::)

And one of AL's clues was "I Think I Love You", and since she played a lesser-heard Partridges tune in '71 last month, i would hope she doesn't go to that well again, since "ITILY" is an FF at this point -- another of those '70s cheezeball cuts that radio stations trot out and say "look how cool we are to be playing this!"

Ha! And I bet you $10 that if it does get played, at least one person will say something to the effect of "Annalisa is on fire today"!

And after I just commented the other day that KFOG doesn't play Adele that much anymore... here she is again.

snoozier-than-average TOTHK: The Cat Man. "Wild World." Nice but unnecessary.

I looked.

Not in the Shraytabase, not revealed in a search of the board here.  (It did turn up on a couple of the other regional 10@10s.) So high potential for Bustout-ness.

Ultra-BOS for Tell The Troof. Far preferable to the title track. That's our girl, spinning a lame request into a GREAT one.

Dayammmm, this set took a hard left turn for the good after the Partridge Family tune (with foreshadowing via Old Brown Shoe).

BOS4, Jagger, Memo From Turner.  (Not sure if this is strictly considered a Stones song, although it appears on a few of their comps.)

(Looks like by consensus, this is indeed a Jagger tune, not Stones. I know that's Ry Cooder playing slide.)

yeah, nice song.  first time I remembering hearing it was about a year ago.  Never saw the movie.

I went to a jazz club in Wash DC to see some band and Ted Knight and Tony Bennet were there with their dates/wives, they were drunk off their asses.  Tony was rocking a Jheri Curl rug.

This reminds me of a movie they showed us in middle school (The Secret, maybe, or the Secret World or something?).  I just remember an early scene at breakfast, the patriarch of the family was served one soft boiled egg and the boy (the focus of the story) watches with envy as his father eats it.  Because only the father gets an egg...  Just one.
