So far she's posted a clip of LOTR ("the precious!") and Foo Fighters "All My Life". To which I say... Feh.

It does suggest that we're on track for a five-decade week, and I would greatly welcome a '60s
set on Friday.

From your lips to Pugh's ear!

I'll be listening but not posting today; rather slammed at work.

ETA: I'm having way too much fun with 2NG's March 1980 retro-chart, so I'm gonna pass on 2002 altogether. Enjoy yerselves, kids (if that's possible).

I'll have to leave halfway through the set, so when I'm not around, let there be copious note-taking!

I guess this didn't crack the top 100 obviously.  I took a look, and couldn't find anything I cared about in the list.

For me, it's personal.

it was certainly huge on KFOG at the time. It's lovely, and I still find it bizarre that it lost the Best Song Oscar to Eminem.

Got here just in time for these, which I transcribed from the backsell. Not bad, but I think I picked a good day for a 9am meeting.

7. Foos-  Times Like These
8. Green Day - Tired of waiting
9. Beck - The Golden Age
10. Wilco - Heavy Metal Drummer

as in, the Kinks song?  An off-the-wall cover left over from the Renee era?

Yep, Green Day released  "Shenanigans", which had that and a bunch of outtakes. My favorite song off the album was the instrumental "Espionage".

Overall, this set was about what I'd expect out of an AL 2002 set...about KFOG rotation regulars from that year, a couple of alt-hits, and a couple I wouldn't expect.

This set was snoozy and sounded like a Rosalie-produced Renee set, save for the Foo Fighters (which was an LN.) IMO some of Renee's later 2000's sets were better.  :o

Did AL take BOS votes today? During the backsell, she goofed and press the wrong button to end the show, and after she corrected herself, she didn't ask for BOS votes.

The KFOG 10@10 web page has Coldplay's God Put a Smile on your Face marked as BOS.
No other sets from this week have any indication of what took BOS.
