HOLY SMOKES!!!!

Macca "Give Ireland Back To The Irish".

"...don't make them have to take it away."

I have heard about this song, but I have never heard it on the airwaves, despite innumerable St. Pat's sets.

And Paul chickened out and left it off the Wingspan hits'n'misses comp.

Ditto -- one of his best 70s singles, IMHO.  Howcum we never hear this on St Patty's Day?

and here's an Irish guy, to keep perspective, BOS #2 Van "Gypsy".

I dare say after only two song that this is already the most phenomenal 1972 set.

Gaz, if this is not too gauche to suggest, and assuming this is on iTunes, please get it & append it to whichever disc you were going to send us for Christmas.

Indeed -- I was hoping someone would showcase the ORIG Heartbreak Kid. the remake/reimagining with Stiller looks godawful.

That's too bad, but I went to Amazon and ordered it anyway --  6 bucks and change for a 2-CD set.  It also (thank god) doesn't include "Mary Had a Little Lamb".

Indeed.

I haven't seen the orig. yet, but by all accounts this one is horrible.

Memo to Hollywood: hiring actors who are notorious for going over the top is NOT the way to capture an audience when your movie's characters are deeply flawed to begin with.
