Certainly in the "he was still alive?" category. He performed at my college in the '70s, and he
wasn't a young man then. I recall his show as being markedly scatalogical. A much racier
version of Victor Borges-style double talk.
A precursor to the naughty innuendo now widely practiced by drive-time jocks.

Absolutely. I remember him appearing on Frank & Mike in the 1980's, and it always sounded as if he had one foot in the grave.
