The Peak, Happy V-Day: It's Rob's Greatest Love Songs!

Todd is Godd, at least when it comes to his writing and arrangement of "I Saw the Light."
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

The Otis Redding stands out, as does the Dylan (though I like Livvy's version better):

Otis Redding    These Arms of Mine
U2    With Or Without You
Sinead O'Connor    Nothing Compares To U
Bob Dylan    If Not For You
Cure    Just Like Heaven
Eric Clapton    Wonderful Tonight
Paul McCartney    Maybe I'm Amazed
Todd Rundgren    I Saw the Light
Van Morrison    Have I Told You Lately?
Peter Gabriel    In Your Eyes (Live)
“The choir of children sing their song.  They've practiced all year long.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.  Ding dong.”

indeed, her first US hit is a lovely underrated cover. I prefer George's version to either, tho'.

I'd forgotten how compelling that PG live perf was.  It was 5 years ago this weekend that I met him at the Rock the Vote Awards - I remember telling people afterward that he was remarkably tall and smelled like peppermint.  Also met Bootsy there, and saw a fantastic live performance (seriously) from Robbie Williams.

Rob sez: "I feel like frickin' Delilah here, so I'm gonna split."  Wha?!?

Delilah is that chick who does a syndicated "love songs" show on weeknites. I believe WLTW runs it in your area -- there was a bit of hubbub when they fired a local live jock and replaced him/her with Delilah.
