BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
Anybody planning to see The Omen with Liev Shreiber as Gregory Peck & Julia Stiles as Lee Remick?
I'm not. The original was really the only movie that ever really scared me. Once when the Morning Show was on the topic I called in to relate my story of how a carload of 15 & 16 year old boys went to see it at a theater about 10 miles from home because we wouldn't get carded there, and after seeing the movie, by unanimous vote, we drove all the way home with the dome light on.

The orig is a classic, and in many ways a better horror movie than The Exorcist. No desire to see the remake, despite the nice in-joke of having Mia "Rosemary" Farrow as the nanny.

Thanks RG. I just saw Dave's page and he thanks YOU for the 6/6/6 set! You are a man of influence.

That's weird because I just looked at his page over the weekend to see if there was anything new and that post was not there -- but now it's there, and it's dated "Friday June 2nd". Hrm. Devil's in the details indeed!
Thanks for the alert, Alicat!
-
On air mention too! Day of (bwah ha ha ha) DOOOOMMMMMM........
-
The end is coming -- "Everybody Knows" that. BOS Leonard Cohen. Guess that's why we didn't hear this yesterday in 1988

It's more like he's BLAMING you & washing his hands of the whole thing.
Well, the meeting is starting a bit late, but now I gotta go.
BOS Leonard Cohen.

Sorry I haven't been around. Work sucks. It sucks HARD.
Thanks for checkin on me, Lightinin Rod.
Hope everybody's doing well. I haven't been keeping up w/10at10 lately. But, I listen to some of the Morning Show and when I found out today's set? I had to manifest myself.
I had no idea, however- that it was the brainchild of RGMike himself.
Eeeexcellent.
OK. Gotta stop typing (finishing a report)- but I'll keep listening!

ROTFL -- totally. vocally as well as guitar-wise.
-
Anyone know what the film clip that preceded FOTD was--the dead fellow being welcomed to hell, being told he'd never hear Bach or Beethoven again?
-
the cover of "Mad World" -- interesting choice. Dave says "10@10 doesn't know what it believes", but it's pretty clear Dave knows what HE believes.
-
cmon Disco Inferno!
to some Fogheads, disco IS hell.
-
Sing it Mick. Sympathy fo the Devil.
-
dupe #3: SFTD. Still no BS&T, tho'. That's something.
-
BOS4 VH!
-
I think Runnin' With the Devil is gonna be as close to metal as we get today--no Number of the Beast, no Angel of Death, no Sabbath.
-
VH, Running with the Devil, what about , Flirting with Disaster?
-
post mortem props to RGM. It was YOUR idea!
-
post-set: World Party, "Way Down Now"
"she took me by the hand
hell was the promised land"
and of course, it musically quotes "Sympathy" at the end. Nice, if it was played intentionally.

Hearing this set again this morning and it dawned on me that leading off with the Leonard Cohen track was Dave's way of saying, Hey Fundies -- yeah, the end is coming all right but the Devil ain't got nothing to do with it... the End will be our own fault.
