Lessee, how many can I get:

Van Morrison
Rory Gallagher
Thin Lizzy
The Corrs
Mumford et al
The Waterboys
U2
Pogues
Sinead O'Connor
Boomtown Rats

I'm sure there are others; this was what I came up with off the top of my head.

Cranberries too.  Dunno if Dropkick Murphys count (technically American?)  but I'd welcome them with open arms.

Oops, yes, good call! How did I forget them? And the DMs might be a good guess too, given their Boston roots and those of our esteemed hostess.

There's also Snow Patrol, although I would hope something besides "Chasing Cars" gets played.

Reception really crappy today, so I bailed.  BOS Thin Lizzy.  Only chance to beat that would be something really special from Van.

Horslips, Dearg Doom. Irish prog.

Another one I wouldn't have called.
Let's get right to it.

Switched to Pandora because of crappy reception, and the second song that comes up is "And It Stoned Me."

Digging the horny horns. (With the exception of the soprano solo, presumably played by Van. I've never been able to take his playing.)

Rory Gallagher, "Country Mile"  Irish boogie. Another BOS candidate, although I think I'm leaning toward Horslips overall.

Rory Gallagher, "Country Mile"
Sounds like the Irish version of Golden Earring. (Green Earring?)
