Further evidence of Set of the Month: the harrowing "Slippin' Into Darkness."  Wow.

Sadly, I'll miss the end of this -- 10:30 "scrum" meeting.

Hah! 4 out of 7!  Sing it Rev. Al.  bos 7

Somebody should page Rod back out of his meeting, before T. Rex is over.

Dayum! now we're Slipping into Darkness & into ten-way tie territory.

Jeeee-zus! TRex, Telegram Sam--BOS5 at least. OK Mark, is this is or is this ain't a bustout?

heard it once last year.  Close enough for me.  This is the set of the month so far.

I would have to agree--likely the best we've heard since Dave's birthday set last month.

BOSX+1 War, Slippin' Into Darkness. By far their high-water mark, far above Lowrider.
Let's get right to it.

I'm still partial to "Galaxy," which no one ever plays (or, apparently, remembers).

And we end, oh so tastefully, with the Dan, Only A Fool Would Say That.

I remember it -- not bad, but a little too "we better make a disco record now" for my taste.

I'll not complain about the Dan, ever, but statistically this is a Katrina.

But in no way detracting from this being a phenomenal set.

Good point--I never made the connection before, but both songs have a very similar groove. But which came first? I'm thinking it could have been this one.
