Here's another ATBB:

George Harrison, Blow Away, from his eponymous record that I'd completely forgotten.

As soon as this came on I thought the same, and yet remembered how much I'd liked this back in '79.  Probably haven't heard it in 30 yrs.

STIMULATING!

I like how this DJ jumps in and gives a live intro here and there, I understand other DJs do that, whereas Dave never does, but I hardly listen to other 10@10s

Ginger used to in between the first and second halves of the BCO version. I miss Ginger.

So is IDTR the token "weird" tune in this set?

The Rock will cure your ills, mon!

OMG BOS#4!  "I Do The Rock"

Dammit! Now I'm REALLY jealous.

But I've been waiting for this song to show up in somebody's set so I could post this again:

I was just thinking about that--an admirable piece of research. You oughta e-mail that link to the DJ, whatever his name is.

It's The Knack with their other song everyone knows, but doesn't really like as much as their first one, "Good Girls Don't"

btw, did you ever see that movie "The Knack  ... And How to Get It?"

great English 60s movie, w great soundtrack by John Barry

One thing the Sound's set has over KFOG's: they got a higher powered sponsor. Volvo vs. California Closets.

Always found it a little funny that one of the most frequent sponsors of a feature that's entirely the work of a completely "out" gay man is California Closets.

right!

but I giggle like a schoolgirl when Dave talks about that sponsor who gives a meat baton to everyone.
