LN2: Jackson on empty... tho' the segue to it from that energy shortage clip was fairly clever.
-
Jackson Browne "Running On Empty"
I like Jackson's mid-tempo rockers better than his plaintive ballads. Those are pretty good, too, though.
-
Steely Dan "I Got The News"
-
BOS3 the Dan, a relatively rare track from Aja.
-
Steely Dan "I Got The News"

Indeed, it's not in the Shraytabase, and Dave played TONS of Steely Dan over the years. So kudos to DC or RR.
OTOH... Marvin is kind unnecessary.
-
Marvin Gaye "Got To Give It Up"
I like this one, too. I didn't know it was Marvin until recently and never would have guessed it was he before. I thought it was a disco one-hit wonder. The man had range (not to mention a falsetto).

Iggy Pop "Lust For Life"

Iggy Pop "Lust For Life"

Steely Dan "I Got The News"
Wowzie wow wow wow! This has got to be a first for 10at10 of any era. BOSSSSSS!
Uh, no. AL played "I Got the News" on 22-Jun-09 and again on 30-Sep-10.
The earlier appearance was her first "set o' mystery," less than a
month after her start as the time traveling hostess. I mention this
because nearly six months into the RR era, and we have yet to have a
mystery set. (Insert snarky comment here about RR and mystery.)
