4 October 2012: It's.... 1998

Oh look, Renee does do "social media" after all.  And we're getting a year from the 90s.

Indeed, and I suspect RR prefers Twitter because it's "easier".

I'll be sticking with 2NG's retro-chart (Oct 1978) today.

And the first two bold choices are "You Get What You Give" and "Never There". Liked both songs, back in 1998, but for now I'll have to give it a  >:( and a  ::) and a  :'(

You Get What You Give was the TOTHC.  A little LN, but I like it.  Two total LN's after that, Cake & Train.

Lot of excitement about what indeed appears to be 1998. I didn't tune in right away; I've heard Cake and Train so far. I don't recognize this next song, but it sounds like another KFOG snoozer (singer sounds like Chris Isaak). The debate was more exciting.

So I guess "Wishlist" does indeed have a chance to be today's "rare track".

Middle of the road rock has sucked since the 70's. Why is it the only music that gets played on sets from 1987 on?

I want sex and candy and for this set list to drive into the ditch.

It's ok to have one or two songs like this, but yeah, when the entire set resembles Sex And Candy, it's to find something else.

Yep. What was that movie clip about "franks and beans"?

Glad I'm missing this, altho' AL's late-'90s sets were not the greatest either.
