24 Nov 2014: it's... 1990
« on: November 23, 2014, 12:52:42 PM »
so, what years are "due"?  '82 and '90 come immediately to mind.

More importantly, will we get any special Thanksgiving sets this week? Will AL do the Food Set? Turkeys? Black Friday? All 3?

ETA: and 1990 it is!

TOTHK: Charlatans UK "The Only One I Know" which has made many appearances in the AL era.

TANC Indeed! I'd be gobsmacked if the first post-set song is "Come With Me Now".

Chris Rea, "Texas", another frequent flier in multiple eras (and years -- it's apparently "legal" in '89 & '90)

By all means. If that's the case I'm requesting the Jesus Christ Superstar Medley, which I haven't heard for awhile.

uber-LN2 Iggy & Kate, "Candy". I'm kinda sorry I stuck around -- I nearly bailed when the year was announced.

SNL Sinatra Group --> Sinead, "Emperors New Clothes". Also a frequent-flier but the best of a weak lineup so far. BOS.

Maybe this is a theme show, the Greatest Hits of 1990 10@10?

News: Marion Barry smokes crack --> uber-LN5 "Groove is in the Heart". Not *my* succotash wish.  Altho' this appears to include the rap break that we don't usually hear.

This was basically a Dave Morey 1990 set from 2006, with all his favorite frequent-fliers.
