well, when a week goes 92-77-84, I have to assume we're getting '00s or late-'90s today, unless a '60s/early '70s treat is in the offing.
ETA: minutes after I posted the above, someone in snipeland said they heard a promo indicating it's '98 today. Feh.
ETA2: it's '99... the promo apparently said "Clinton impeached" which confused people.
-
1999
is this a remix of the Old 97s song?
ETA: it was a live version of "Murder (Or A Heart Attack)"

It does sound a little different. But I haven't heard it for a long time. I like it better knowing that it's about his cat getting out of the house.
-
Sounds like Chrissie Hynde. Reminiscent of "The Night In My Veins," but with much less sex. I liked the early 80s Pretenders a lot.
-
Despite Wilco showing up, I'm gone.
ciao!
-
BOS for Wilco speaking in code.
-
And WOS for Sugar Ray.
-
And WOS for Sugar Ray.
Heh. I actually like this song a lot. :-)

You like it because it's completely ripped off from a 70's tune, Suavecito.
-
Missed everything from the Pretenders song thru the Sugar Ray, which I'm mostly OK with except for the Wilco. What song was it, anyway?

It was "Can't Stand It". Or the "Speaking in Code" song, as I think of it.
-
I don't know any of these clips, but they're kinda bad, aren't they?
-
BOS for Debbie Harry.

Fer sure...
-
BOS for 1999 Trump clip: "The republicans are just too crazy right". :-)
-
No clue what this song is. Maybe by Kula Shaker? "Revolution Behind My Eyes"?
ETA: So it's Lo Fidelity Allstars - Battleflag. Never hoid of 'em.

So this set went to eleven? Because why?

So this set went to eleven? Because why?
Ah, so it wasn't just me. Yes, I counted eleven too. I am unable to post a correct set list
at this time due to a confluence of factors which include my relative unfamiliarity with the
music of 1999 and the near complete lack of identifying clues in the comments today. So
y'all will have to wait for the error-prone, typographic slop that gets posted on the KFOG
site by whoever.
