"Ten classic songs that inexplicably never made it to the Top 40 when originally released. In some cases, they barely made the Top 100 – or were never released as singles at all..."

A couple of LNs in here (no, really?) but overall not a bad concept. What, no "Tiny Dancer" or "Stairway to Heaven"??

On today’s edition of Soundwaves 10@10, we’ll play ten classic songs that inexplicably never
made it to the Top 40 when originally released. In some cases, they barely made the Top 100 –
or were never released as singles at all. Today, we salute the songs destined for greatness,
even if nobody knew it at the time.

 1. Bow Wow Wow, I Want Candy
 2. Jimi Hendrix Experience, Purple Haze (1967)
 3. Joni Mitchell, Big Yellow Taxi
 4. Billy Idol, Dancing with Myself
 5. Journey, Lights
 Super Hit 6. Modern English, I Melt With You
 7. Louis Armstrong, What a Wonderful World
 8. New Order, Bizarre Love Triangle
 9. The Eagles, Tequila Sunrise
10. No Doubt, Don’t Speak
BONUS: Stevie Wonder, Isn’t She Lovely?

Some of these are more of a function of not having a single being released, not that they couldn't have been a Top 10 hit if Billboard hadn't changed its methodology. #10 in particular spent an ungodly amount of time at #1 on the airplay-only chart.
