Expecting Young Americans; hoping for "Third Rate Romance" or (fat chance) Ray Stevens' "Misty".

Sentimental VHM, PF "Welcome to the Machine".

I used the title of that song for the title of my late-nite Prog Rock show at my college radio station (the tradition at the time was that every show had to have a name, rather than just The John Doe Show).  That title lasted exactly one week -- so many stoners assumed from the title that it was a metal show, I was inundated with calls from guys requesting Black Sabbath etc., that I had to change it. It became "The Late Show" (complete with Hot Butter's version of "Syncopated Clock") a week later.

BOS2: FMac, "Blue Letter", the one you never hear.  Linda Ronstadt shoulda covered this one.

is it just me, or is there a lot of America being played lately?  I like it, but it just seems to be that I'm always hearing them recently.

VHM2 Young Frankenstein

"In black and white -- no offense!"

VHM3: America, "Daisy Jane".  As I've said before, Ms Jackson (if you're nasty) ripped this off for "Let's Wait Awhile".  Maybe sampling "Ventura Highway" 15 years later was her way of throwing some resids America's way...
