This week, it's a one-choice week again. That '70s casey will give us March 24th 1973:

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/03-24-73.pdf

(an utterly wonderful chart, IMHO)

and Casey's '80s visits March 21st 1987:

Casey leads off with "A Daisy a Day" at #40 -- I hated this in 1973 but now I find it rather sweet. Guess I'm old.  VHN.

BOS1 the Chi-Lites' forgotten "Letter to Myself"; BOS2 Jim Croce.

BOS3 Miss Ross as Miss Holiday. BOS4 Judy Collins' lovely "Cook With Honey"

Forgotten Ree-Ree: "Master of Eyes", a song that doesn't have much of a hook.

Lawd! Barbara Mason's fabulous rendition of Curtis Mayfield's "Give Me Yo' Love", produced by the man himself. uber-BOS5.

More great rarities: Bill Withers "Kissin' My Love" and Ms Reddy "Peaceful"  BOSes 6 & 7.

VHM Donny's sweet cover of "12th of Never"

BOS8: Mr Denver gets high.

And our Canadian extra  this hour is "When I Die" by Motherlode. Awesome.

Huey climbs the ladder. Ms Lauper does her well-meaning but unnecessary cover of "What's Going On"

BOS1 Joan Jett with Mr Springsteen's "Light of Day"

WOS1 Cutting Crew -- they're *dyin'* out heah!

uber-BOS2 Peter Wolf's fantabulous "Come As You Are"

BOS3 Hipsway, "The Honeythief"

WOSes 2 & 3 Journey and Chicago with (thankfully) forgotten songs -- "I'll Be Alright W/out You" and ""Will You Still Love Me", (dis)respectfully.

http://www.oldradioshows.com/at40/033184.html

nice start with The Romantics' forgotten "One in a Million".  and here's Willie & Julio, "To All The Joints I've Smoked Before"

I don't ever remember hearing Tony Carey's "Fine Fine Day" back in '84. Interesting lyric, tho'. VHM.

WOS Matthew Wilder's "The Kid's American"

A nice Donna Summer rarity starts us off but then it's Journey and -- horrors! -- LoverSagaBoy, "Turn Me On The Loose"  WOSes 1 & 2.

BOS1 Champaign's still-lovely "How 'Bout Us?"

VHM Randy Meisner's "Hearts on Fire", very early Iggles-ish.

*swoon* -- Gino V's "Living Inside Myself" gets a BOS2.

I've said it many times, but I just adore Phil Seymour's "Precious to Me", which sounds like it would've fit right in on "Frampton Comes Alive" uber-BOS3

Heh: 2 James Taylors back-to-back. the orig, white JT with "Her Town Too" and then the lead singer of Kool & the Gang on "Celebration".

or Apr 19th 1975:

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-19-75.pdf

and Casey's '80s is from Apr 17th 1982:

Wanna buy Casey's palatial estate in LA?  Keep yer feet on the ground and keep reaching for your wallet...

Yes, that's 42 million, not 4.2

Tuned in early on CKOC (love those call letters!) and they played 2 Canuck obscurities: Glass Bottle "I Ain't Got Time Anymore" and Stonebolt "I Will Still Love You".

The station chooses '72 over '75, I'm happy to say. BOS1 Gladys with her achingly beautiful cover of "Help Me Make it Thru the Nite".

Casey's '80s is from Apr 17th 1982:

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-17-82.pdf

instant BOS1 at #40: Miss Rubina Flake, "Making Love"

VHM Charlie Daniels before he became a douchebag.

WOS1: "Stars on 45 III", tho' I'll say their lead singer does a pretty good Stevie Wonder imitation.

OMFG: uber-BOS2 Bob & Doug McKenzie feat Geddy Lee "Take Off", eh?

WOS2: another dreadful "medley": Meco goes to the movies.

Thanks to Kiss-FM playing it 27 times a week, "Genius of Love" is now in the "never need to hear again" category. Ditto "Don't You Want Me".

uber-BOS3 Junior and the fantabulous "Mama Used to Say".

Oy: WOS3 Air Supply.

Buffett's "Changes in Attitudes" as an LDD: "son-of-a-bitches" changed to "bruises and stitches". Heh.

BOS4 Ray Parker "The Other Woman"; VHM the Pointers; forgotten "Should I Do It"

WOS4 B&G, "Pac Man Fever" -- I guess they were afraid Weird Al might parody "Cat Scratch Fever" with that title so they wrote an original song... very hastily.

Drag Queen dee-lite: Charlene "Never Been to Me"

WOS5 yet another worthless "medley" -- Beatles movie songs.

BOS5 H&O's forgotten "Did it in a Minute"

It's yet another 2-show '70s week; either April 17th 1971

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-17-71.pdf

or April 21st 1979 (a 4-hour one)

http://www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/04-21-79.pdf

and Csey's '80s visits April 26th 1986:
