Jeffrey Osbornes' "Borderlines" was NTM; Brooooce is on fire and Animotion are obsessed.

VHM Prince feat Appollonia's bodacious ta-tas.

BOS Midnight Star!  VHM Eric Carmen's hair.

uber-BOS2 Steve Perry's only worthwhile vocal, "Foolish Heart"

BOS1 Take Me With U.  Prince's duet ladies all sound the same.  Maybe it's him on a harmonizer.
BOS2 Bryan Adams.   :P

Lawd! William Bell's havin' him a 3-way. VHM1. And VHM2 Chaka/Rufus with the forgotten "At Midnight"

LN1: "Car Wash". But I can never resist the inspired goofiness of "Disco Lucy". I still have the 45.

BOS1 Enchantment's "Gloria" -- just lovely.  uber-LN2 "Hotel Calif"

OMGWTF: ONJ's "Sam" is the very definition of a "lost hit".  BOS2 Rod the Bod covering the Cat Man.

BOS3 Glen Campbell, giving Allen Toussaint a #1 hit.  BOS4 Jennifer Warnes -- Best. Ronstadt. Imitation. EVAH! (and a lovely Peter McCann compo)

Love the name of this store that advertises on CKRU: Hellwinkie's -- the Winkie from HELL?

Hour 2: BOS5 Jackson Browne -- "Here Come Those Tears" sounding quite nice this morning. Watched Taxi Driver last nite and I'd forgotten that Scorsese used "Late For the Sky" in one scene.

VHM EJ's ill-fated "Bite Your Lip", more rockin' than I remembered.

OMFG! BOS6 Smokie's "Living Next Door to Alice".  VHM George's "Crackerbox Palace"

BOS7 MJ & his Bros kicking off the Epic portion of their career. WOS1 Boston. I no love them long time.

Natalie's got love on her mind. And coke up her nose.

BOS8 Tom Jones, gone country; BOS9 Barry M, gone to New England.

WOS2 Kansas.  LN3: Macca's totally unnecessary live version of "Maybe I'm Amazed".

Hour 3: LNs from the Iggles and 10cc.  But VHMFRA the BeeGees' "Boogie Child", as odd a choice for a single as they ever made.

BOS10 H&O's rich bitch; VHM Neil Tennant Al Stewart, "Year of the Cat"

Mary MacGregor tells her man she's met somebody with a bigger schlong.

one of the uber-LNs of all time: "Dancing Queen"

Seger cops a feel. And Kenny Nowwan wikes dweamin'.

'88 Hour 1: Taylor Dyke Dayne proves her love; INXS would like to do the same.

BOS1 Scarlett & Black's great forgotten New Wave OHW, "You Don't Know"

BOS2 and "HAAAAAY"1: Alex O'Neal & Cherelle -- ah NEVAH knew love like this, honey!

VHM Paul Carrack.  BOS3 and "HAAAAAY"2: Salt-N-Pepa.

I gave Tiffany's Beatle cover a pass but WOS1 "Coulda Been". Eeek.

And WOS2 Rick Springfield's "Rock of Life".

Hour 2 comments appear on FB in a Guttersnipes thread.

Hour 3: Pebbles sez oh "Girlfriend" puh-LEEZE!  BOS-whatever (FB made me lose count); ditto the PSBs feat Dusty.

uber-WOS3 Michael Bolton desecrating "Dock of the Bay".

VHM the Jets, "Rocket 2 U"

uber-BOS-infinity "Love Overboard" -- Gladys & the Pips' last Top 40 appearance.

VHM Rob Thomas Cher, "Ah FAY-ound Sumwun"

Cuba Gooding, Sr wants yo' sweet sweet SWEET love, a-shugah!

BOS3 Stealer's Wheel, "Star". always a BOS(4) for Bobby W.

Keith Hampshire's cover of "First Cut is the Deepest" (a Canuck extra) was impressive.  Picked up a best-of of his and there's some good stuff on it.

Hour 2 begins with VHMs: "RnRHK" and "TSOP", OK?  and c'mon Casey -- we know what MFSB *really* stands for.

a country trifecta: Gladys does "Best Thing That Ever Happened" (orig sung by Ray Price); Charlie Rich reappears, and Anne Murray covers Mr Loggins. VHMs to all.

proxy of Gaz: Sister Janet Mead -- remember when Jesus rock wasn't the province of the religious right?

always a BOS(6) for Ree-Ree.  Cliff DeYoung, you're no John Denver.  But damn, that TV-movie (Sunshine) was popular in '74.

The Moments let their jones get good and FONKY. or something.  VHM "Sexy Mama", produced by Sylvia Robinson, iirc.

BOS7 Lamont Dozier, tryin' to hold on.  VHM Barry W and Orch.

oogah-chukka! oogah! oogah!
