I wish people still made songs like "Digital Display" and "A Love Bizarre."

A! B! A, B, C, D!

Survivor's "The Search is Over", heard as an extra, is a pretty dead-on imitation/rip-off of Chicago's mid-'80s ballad sound, no? Might as well be Peter Cetera.

WOS4 Starship's completely bland, generic and worthless "Sara" -- people love to dis "We Built This City" but this is SO much worse.

I don't remember the really long version of Falco.

Casey mentioned a SF station before Sade's song in 1986. I don't remember AT40 being on in the Bay Area since 1982 when it left KCBS-FM (switched from KCBS-FM to KRQR "The Rocker").

BTW, Mike, I think We Built This City is among the 5 worst songs of all time, far worse than Sara. Although, as I think about it, just about all of the 80's Starship was pretty bad.

The station was KITS, I think.

"Moody Blue" was NTM, believe it or not.  I was underwhelmed.  But while I'm packing for a weekend trip to DC, Elton's getting me to get up and dance, dance, dance.  (I remember "Bite Your Lip" well from his 1980 Central Park concert, in the Donald Duck outfit.)

Casey seemed to genuinely enjoy telling the story of the forthcoming KISS superhero comic book.  BOS to "Hard Luck Woman," perhaps Peter Criss's best vocal (not to mention his best Rod Stewart imitation).

agreed, tho' I prefer when Rod does himself, so to speak. VHM "First Cut/Deepest". You're going to DC in a blizzard?
