Tasteful finish.  A Friday 60's set would have to go some to top this one.

This one is too good to miss. I think I'm home tonight, so will give it the old college try. Anyone else?

Btw, POC, you asked for the 68 set from a couple fridays ago? Sorry to say, there's static all over the tape so it's unlistenable from about SH6 on. Sorry.

Will try to avoid such things tonite.
Let's get right to it.

nit picking, maybe, but "Post Subject" is in a font so small I didn't even notice it until now. Can this be futzed with?

i don't even bother writing anything in the subject field, unless it's a new forum topic.

VHM Chicago, "Just You'n'Me". Dave doesn't play this one very often, tho' it was the biggest hit from that album.

Buckingham Nicks and Oleanders

Yeah, Crystal from the Buckingham Nicks LP (hear the vinyl?)

At the time, the in joke was that there were no oleanders in Annandale, thus the confusion you young'uns have!

I love Stevie, actually.  But "South Park" is an evil influence.

I've noticed that too, and think it must be customizable.  I'll tweak later.

Hmm, I would have guessed Feelin Stronger Every Day was a bigger hit, but it peaked at 10, Just You 'n Me hit #4 on the singles chart. I am indeed in awe.

Not cassettes, at least not analog. I record the set on DAT, usually during the evening repeat, and then burn from the DAT onto CD.

As for recording analog cassettes to CD, either get a DAT recorder like the one I have, plug your cassette deck into it to burn your discs:

http://www.mediasupply.com/cdr830.html

Or to do it via your computer, follow the instructions on this page, and whenever it says "turntable" insert the words "cassette deck":

Let's get right to it.

In awe of me, or of Chicago? Or of Columbia's promotion dept?

Actually, I remembered that because they had a history of the second single from an LP doing better than the first.
