Crapton gets off on '57 Chevys; I get off on not hearing Crapton. WOS "RnR Heart".  VHM Chrissie & Co, looking for Akron. (Hint: it's gone).

BOS Randy N, lovin' LA.

Wed 3/9/11: 1973

just missed Ms Flack, not to mention "Dead Skunk" and an EJ rarity, "Blues For Baby & Me".  And here come Dr Hook, on da covah o' da Stone. No wonder Seger's turning the page.

BOS Deodato, gettin' space-y.

Fri 3/11/11: 1965!!

Specifically, August of '65...

The marvelous Marvelows' "I Do" is a Friday treat. BOS1. Animals gotta get outta heah. VHM Mann & Weill for fine songwriting. And the Byrds' stellar "Bells of Rhymney" gets an uber-BOS2.

Great clip from Help! -- I can say no more!

BOS3 Kinks, "Set Me Free".  Mick can't get no. (Yeah, right.) I'm reminded of the press conference in Gimme Shelter where he's asked (4 years later) if he's satisfied and he says "Do you mean... SEXually?"

The wicked Pickett waits til' da midnite hour. VHM.
