BOS, but non-cooking "Let Me Roll It".  I always thought this song was controversial because I thought Paul said, "You gave me loving in a common man".  First Elton, now Paul?

Yep, I heard it that way for years, prolly cause the real words don't make any sense, unless he's talking about a bit of the old self-love.

Holy Toledo, some of my all-time faves in this set.  BOS3 for "Any Major Dude Will Tell You".  I've worked for hours trying to get that riff at the end of the chorus down on the geetar.

Cetera only does the bridge.  I don't know all the singer's names, but I think the guy with the middle voice sings most of the lead.  Kath is the lowest guy, right?

Great set so far!  Speaking of "Star", early this morning, 6:15am, I stepped outside to watch the Int'l Space Station fly over.  I check its schedule on NASA website.  Although its 200 miles up, it's easy to spot, looks like a bright star flying a steady course, definitely different looking than a jet.  We'll be able to see it again tomorrow morning, coming low out of the west at 6:52am, heading NNE at 33 degrees altitude, visible for about 5 minutes.  Might not be quite as easy to see as it was this morning since it's time will be closer to sunrise.

Hardly.

   1. You Make It So Hard (To Say No)
   2. Slow Dancer
   3. Angel Lady (Come Just In Time)
   4. There Is Someone Else
   5. Hercules
   6. Pain Of Love
   7. Sail On White Moon
   8. Let It Happen
   9. I Got Your Number
 10. Take It For Granted

Now, Silk Degrees, that's another story...  (I'm WAAAAY more anal than Dave!)

Nope, we're back from Corvallis, but you're right that I missed a good one. Had some stuff to do this morning, so didn't tune in til the very tag end of Star, which means all I really heard was Boz. Will certainly be tuned in tonight.

As to the Slow Dancer/Silk Degrees comparison, we've certainly heard more from Silk than Slow (just realized that the acronym won't work when comparing these--they're identical) but we're not close to hearing all of either. Only three songs in the DB from Slow Dancer (Angel Lady, Slow Dancer, You Make It So Hard (To Say No)) to six from Silk Degrees (Love Me Tomorrow, Lowdown, What Can I Say, It's Over, Lido Shuffle, and just once, Georgia) but there are still four not listed from the latter record: Jump Street, What Do You Want the Girl to Do?, Harbor Lights, and We're All Alone). I could certainly picture three of those appearing at some point, but Jump Street was never a hit, don't think it got any airplay at all.
