The Chi-Lites lead singer and songwriter passed away over the weekend.   :cry:   At least he stuck around long enough to see Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" bring his horn chart on "Are You My Woman?" back to the fore.

Greg just mentioned on CGSS that Mr Record also wrote Barbara Acklin's "Am I the Same Girl" (aka Young-Holt Unltd's "Soulful Strut"). I never knew that.
