That's actually a pretty fun set.  I still love the Billy Squier song although even I cringe at the prancy video.

even though we all know Rod Stewart "officially" lost it after moving to LA, I still enjoy his later cheesey hits, like Some Guys Have All The Luck, Young Turks, Forever Young, Tonight I'm Yours, etc.  I esp like his People Get ready w Jeff Beck.

Thursday 4/16/09: 1973

Johnny Rivers -Rockin' Pneumonia/Boogie Woogie Flu
War -Cisco Kid
Carpenters -Top Of The World
Edgar Winter Group -Frankenstein
Bob Marley -Get Up, Stand Up
King Harvest -Dancing In the Moonlight
Dr. Hook -Cover Of The Rolling Stone
Grand Funk Railroad -We're An American Band
Vicki Lawrence -The Night The Lights Went Out in GA.

Totally the way I remember '73; the Marley track's the only one of the 10 that wasn't a Top 40 hit.

OMFG! Kon Kan's "I Beg Your Pardon", an ATBB, gets a Best-of-Month and major kudos. One of my very fave singles of '89.
